4 Tips To Winterize Your Tucson Home
Share This Article With Your Friends
Hey everyone, it's Rachel Clark. Happy Holidays! During the wintertime, everyone tends to get busy with holiday festivities, but I wanted to share four helpful tips to help you maintain your home during the colder months.
1. HVAC/Furnace Maintenance
Make sure to do your semi-annual maintenance on your HVAC and your furnace. I know we have really mild, beautiful winters here in Arizona, but it does tend to get pretty chilly in the mornings and evenings. So you want to make sure that your heater is in working order.

2. Clean Chimney/Fireplace
Get your chimney and your fireplace cleaned. You want to make sure that you do this so that you avoid any fires and to get all the debris out of there from the past uses of the fireplace.
3. Winterize Outdoor Pipes/Faucets
Make sure that any outdoor water pipes are covered and insulated. The last thing you want during the wintertime is frozen pipes.
4. Pool Maintenance and Cover
If you have a non-heated pool, now's the best time to do a little TLC on it. Getting it cleaned, any maintenance you need to have done on the pool is the perfect time. And you want to also maybe keep it covered so that it's ready for lots of fun during the summertime.
