You want to make sure that you have a realtor there and they're the ones doing the leg work for you. You want this to be a fun process and that you're enjoying it, even though it is a longer process.

Another reason is as a real estate agent, we're here to represent you and your best interest. The site agent is there and works for the builder. Therefore, they're representing the builder and has the builder's best interest in mind. You want someone there to represent you. A way to look at it is you wouldn't go to court without an attorney, so why are you going to buy a home without a real estate agent?Â
