Yuletide at Old Tucson
Old Tucson recently closed it’s doors in 2020, which devastated the Tucson and surrounding communities. The historic Western movie studio and theme park was built in 1939 and has been a huge attraction for decades.
Thanks to the new owners, the American Heritage Railways, October was the grand opening of Old Tucson and we will be welcoming the new experience of Yuletide at Old Tucson. You’ll able to experience the Holidays the Old West Way this Christmas season. Their new holiday spectacular combines the magic of Old Tucson with beautiful décor, period costumes, live shows, and interactive experiences. YULETIDE highlights the unique Wild West history of Old Tucson and creates a one-of-a-kind event that is sure to become an annual tradition for the entire community. The Marana Christmas Express
You’ll get to enjoy an amazing light display, a ride on the Christmas train, a petting zoo, sweet treats, and so much more! It’s a great time for anyone! Located at the Marana Pumpkin patch and starts around the beginning of December.. It’s the best place to spread Christmas cheer!

The North Pole Experience in Flagstaff, AZ
Delight in the magic of the holiday season at Santa’s enchanting, 400-year-old workshop. You will not want to miss out on an unforgettable North Pole experience inside the toy factory, Mrs. Claus’s bakery, Elf University, Santa’s Sleigh Hanger, and family time and photos with St. Nick himself. Santa’s massive workshop is one impressive sight to see. It was voted the “best holiday experience for Children” by AZ Foothills magazine from 2016-2022. The experience is Friday- Sunday starting in November and goes until Christmas Eve.
Fourth Ave Winter Street Fair
This year marks over 50 years of the family friendly tradition that brings over 600,000 people to the streets of fourth Avenue in Tucson! With artists from all over the world, amazing food, local entertainment, and lots of fun, you’ll get to take advantage of our mild winters on the fun and eclectic streets of fourth Avenue. Make sure to enjoy the fair from December 9th through the 11th open from 10 am to dusk each day!
ZooLights
Returning once again to the Reid Park Zoo, Zoolights is a fan favorite, especially with the kiddos! You’ll experience enchanting lights, mesmerizing light shows, and displays and lots of holiday fun for all ages. Don’t forget to stop in for a photo opp at the confection-merry Candyland, and visit Old St. Nick who will be hearing wishes each evening through December 23. Experience falling snow in the Arctic Zone, listen to your favorite festive music, while enjoying a hot cup of cocoa from the Zoo Café! The event starts December 2 and goes through December 30th.
World of Illumination
Take a quick drive up to Tempe , AZ to the world's largest drive-through animated light show. Grab your sled and join World of Illumination on a walk down Reindeer Road. Whiz through mountainous terrain, traverse glacial peaks, explore the northern ice caves and make your way through the northern forests to the heart of it all – Santa’s Workshop – the world’s largest animated toy shop. Be dazzled by reindeer, snowmen, and toys galore as you witness the most spectacular drive-through light forest this side of the arctic. Who knows, you may even catch Santa and his elves making your present this year…if you’ve been nice! Starting November 16th-January 1st from 6 to 10 p.m. daily.
The Nutcracker Ballet
The beloved tradition of many is back this year to grace the stage! Running from December 22rd-24th at the Tucson Music Hall. You will not want to miss this iconic holiday classic!
Winterhaven Festival of Lights
This year will mark the 73rd year this magical light festival has graced the streets of the historic Winterhaven neighborhood. You can tour the neighborhood lights on foot, by trolly, hayrides, or even on a party bike! This is one of the country’s longest running festivals of its kind! It’s a beloved family tradition that truly marks the holiday season for everyone! Starting December 10-26th from 6-10pm daily.
