Hi everyone, it's Rachel Clark. Today I'm going to go over a few helpful tips that'll give you an advantage when putting in an offer in a seller's market. Now, a seller's market typically means that there is more demand than there is supply. That means that inventory is low. So here's a few of my helpful tips that'll get you an advantage when putting in an offer.
1. Get Pre-Qualified
We don't want to go to a house that you absolutely fall in love with and then put an offer in, but have to wait for your lender to get us our pre-qualification. That could mean that somebody else could come in right after you and sweep the house that's already been pre-qualified.

2. Visit House As Soon As Possible
The second would be to get out to the property as soon as you can with your agent. Again, because it is a seller's market and that means that supply is low, we want to get there and make sure that we're viewing the property because there's going to be so many other people, potentially, that could be looking for the same home that you are that are constantly looking online or getting those notifications that a new listing came up. So we want to make sure that we're ahead of everyone else and getting there before anyone else.
3. Aggressive Offer
My last tip is you're going to want to be a little bit more aggressive with your offer. That means that you're going to probably be writing closer to list price or at list price, if the comparable support that number. I hope these tips help you as a home buyer in a seller's market.
